Wouldn’t it be much better to go through life without those annoying emotions getting in the way? Wouldn’t it be so much easier without those moments where you feel your emotions are in control? Wouldn’t it be better to be a perfectly rational, logical person without emotions all the time? Some people may be thinking this would be a great life. But, imagine missing out on Love.

To live an emotionless life would be radically different to how your mind and brain actually work. Even trying it would be to deny half of your mental world.

We can provide counselling and psychotherapy in various clinical areas including depression, anxiety, post traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), acute stress disorder (ASD), bipolar disorder, self harm and personality disorders. B.A. (HMS), B.App.Sc. (Occ. Th.), B.A. (Psych), Gd. Cert (Clin.Hyp.), M.H.Sc. (Beh. Sc.), PhD

Dr. Phillips has undergraduate degrees in sport, occupational therapy and psychology. He has post graduate degrees in behavioural science and a PhD in "The Self".

His PhD work has been published in international peer reviewed academic journals. He has presented this work and the benefits of the therapy at international conferences, such as the World Federation of Occupational Therapy and the International Conference for Applied Psychology. He has also been asked to present at national conferences, such as the Australia and New Zealand Association of Psychology, Psychiatry and the Law, the Australian National Occupational Therapy Conference and the Australian Psychological Society National Conference.

Dr. Phillips has worked with people from various socioeconomic and cultural groups who have had a range of mental health concerns from those requiring hospitalisation to issues specifically related to elite level athletes and celebrities.
